Best speakers you've ever had?

What was it that made them your favorite? Still, if not, you have to replace them? My favorite was a pair of Merlin TSM-M minimonitors in a delightful Ruby Heart "(sweet red apple that is) brilliant Summit a pair of Osiris is full of sand. Clarity and pictures are absolutely amazing! They were animated by Clayton Audio S40 pure class A solid state power amplifier stereo, Conrad-Johnson PV-10 preamp valves and a CD Sony CDP-XA7ES. I also used a couple KR Audio (then KR Enterprise) VT-9000 monoblock tube hybrid. I've replaced the SST with a pair of Silverline Sonatina soil Maple flies online. As great sounding speakers. Very soft and silky top to bottom.

My audio system has a pair of reference paradigm (Study 100) speakers and I was very happy with them – I had them a year and a half and look like keepers. (I've seen at least 10 speakers in as many years!) L. They are powered by a player Rotel CD, a counterpoint SA-5000 vacuum tube preamp and Bryston amplifiers. I have not met a better picture and sound in a pair of speakers in my environment. By my home theater, I have a pair of Klipsch La Scala in front, Klipsch Heresy and the dipole surrounds Klipsch Center. Sub functions are performed by a REL. The fronts are powered by two channel Rotel power amplifiers, the center and around a 5.1 Rotel Power Amp, behind which is a pre-processor Rotel 7.1. La Scala and Heresy is an incredible option Home Theater. They are very efficient, fast and sensitive. The voices are phenomenal and fronts to handle the sound better than some big movie I was. Sometimes in some make use of the facility to listen to jazz, but other than that, is a dedicated home theater (with a screen 11 'and projector)
